Building Power BI SaaS
- Anonymous4 years ago
Hi Ray26Light ,
For power bi embedded, it’s function is to embed your Power BI items such as reports, dashboards and tiles, in a web application or in a website, so that users or organization can access this content. As the following says:
For more information please refer to this doc: Power BI embedded analytics overview - Power BI | Microsoft Docs
Now you want to let users upload their data directly from the website, but embedded does not support this , so these operations still need to be performed by returning to power bi.

Hi Everyone, not a programmer but I plan on building a SaaS platform using a no code platform and powerBI. The Idea is users upload their data on my website and my preset PowerBI templates just spits out a dashboard based on the data they provided. My question: Is it possible to embed power BI into a website and have users upload their data directly from the website?

Hevo Data, a No-code Data Pipeline helps to load data from any data source such as Databases, SaaS applications, Cloud Storage, SDK’s, and Streaming Services and visualize it in your desired BI tools such as Power BI. It supports 100+ data sources including Power BI and is a 3-step process by just selecting the data source, providing valid credentials, and choosing the destination. Hevo not only loads the data onto the desired Data Warehouse but also enriches the data and transforms it into an analysis-ready form without having to write a single line of code.
