Hi, I have just noticed that single select does not work when the orientation is horizontal.
Here nothing has been selected:
Here both currencies have been selected, even though "Single select" option is on:
"Single Select" does not mean that it is forced single, only that when you click without holding "Control" (or equivelent), it will become an option selection over a checkbox selection. You can still select multiple by holding Ctrl.
If you want to force single select, I would reccomend the Chiclet Slicer. This has an option to force single (plus more formatting options).

And why is a Radio Button "Single Select" slicer not a COTS tool? ![]()
chiclet worked well, until I used it on an attribute used in the report filter... now the report refuses to show null records. (no, null records arent excluded in any way on the report, only when the chiclet filter is present...
When I switch it back to a standard slicer no problems...
tried it in a new report as a new visual to no avail either.
Appears to exclude blank / null data with no way to display it 😕
