While it's certainly possible that I have been having a prolonged series of hallucinations,
(a) for the last 3 days I have been losing the last table operation for new tables immediately prior to saving a file in desktop ---- to the degree I have been artificially creating a garbage new table prior to save
(b) I promise the power bi community I have been laying off the hallucinogens....at least this week
Basically when I save a file and have been working on a new table (such as inserting a filter into a existing table), I lose the most recent change on save

Urgent Issues
First and foremost, the community is a "best effort" kind of support forum. There are no true guarantees or service level agreements (SLA's) regarding when you might get an answer. You may not get an answer. Don't get me wrong, the community is an incrediblely robust and an amazing resource but if you are having an urgent issue that needs addressed immediately, you need to get actual Microsoft support involved. To do this, open a support ticket here:
Power BI - https://support.powerbi.com
PowerAutomate - https://flow.microsoft.com/support
Power Apps - https://support.powerapps.com
This really seems to be a bug. I'm experiencing this in my other device which has on-object interaction enabled. I thought it was because my dataset was too big. I had to create a new calc table so I didn't't lose the other one.
