Bring information from one table to another
Good afternoon. I've been learning about Power Bi for a couple of months. I've had courses at the University where I was taught database stuff, but it complicates me with the aspect of correctly creating the data model using unknown databases. For example, to practice I downloaded a database of Kaggle called "Brazilian E-Commerce Public Dataset by Olist", in which they attach an image about the proposed scheme:
I think of it this way in Power BI:
The author says that "olist_orders_dataset" is the central data set. For me it is a bit strange because until now my central set of data was the Fact tables, which came to them relationships of one to several, but in this one they get relationships of several to one.
Now, for example, I need to compare columns olist_order_items_dataset[shipping_limit_date] with olist_orders_dataset[order_delivered_carrier_date], to count how many times one date is greater than another.
The Related function only works for me from the olist_order_items_dataset table but I want to occupy the order_id of olist_orders_dataset.
I also tried to merge the tables but the number of rows of olist_order_items_dataset always varied me and I just want to add the date from the table olist_order_items_dataset.
