Box plot not showing correct mean

I have a measure that calculates the difference between 2 dates - columns. It returns me the number of days, as a numeric value.

Next i try to plot the measure on a boxplot. I use "Box and Whisker by MAQ Software" visual.

I put my measure in Values. But the boxplot doesn't show anything.

I put the same measure also in Axis.

Now the boxplot correctly visuales the data points, the min and the max. But the mean and the average are incorrect.

When using a card to show the average, the result is correct. So the measure is correct, but the visual is not showing it as it should.

Any help please?

Thanks

for ex the left graph: 7.13 is the correct mean (see card visual below). the box plot is showing 16

@Ptolemaida

How are you calculating the mean that gives the result of 7.13?

@Ptolemaida

You can put your measure in the Value, but you need a dimension (e.g. Category, Region, ID etc) in the Axis or Axis Category, like this

@Ptolemaida

You can't put a measure in the Axis for that visual.  Are you sure that's what you are doing?

Please provide our PBIX file or at the least some screenshots showing the values in the visual's wells/fields.

regards

Phil
