Bottom 10 Filter ignoring other filters such as date

Hello all,

So I have a customer who has create a report to show bottom 10 material margin (MM) by item for 2017 ytd.  So he has create a bar chart with MM by item and applied the bottom 10 filter to the visual.  He then applies a Year = 2017 to the visual as well which changes nothing.   The reason this is important is he does not care about items that have not had any 2017 sales.

Is there a way to make the bottom 10 filter work with the date filter?

Thanks

Hi @jkingry,

So he has create a bar chart with MM by item and applied the bottom 10 filter to the visual.

What measure/value does he use in the "By Value" field when applying the bottom 10 filter to the visual?

He then applies a Year = 2017 to the visual as well which changes nothing.

Which column does he use for the date Slicer? Is it from an individual Calendar table or other tables? And what's the relationship between these tables?

To better investigate on this issue, could you share a sample pbix which can reproduce the issue? You can upload it to OneDrive or Dropbox and post the link here. Do mask sensitive data before uploading.Smiley Happy
