Bookmarks that changes the measure selected
Hello there,
I am trying to figure if bookmarks can save different measures selected in the same place, but I can't find a single post talking about it. Let me explain:
I have this line chart showing "Quantity" in the "Values" slot on the Visualizations pane. And I want to have two buttons to switch from Quantity to Earnings in the same chart. The page has more visualizations, but I just want this one to change.
I know that I can create two pages and set the buttons to move between them, but I am pretty sure there has to be a way to make this with only one page. I don't want to mantain two pages because the idea is of this page to be a Real -Time report, and having two pages refreshing each 5 seconds is way slower than only one.
Sorry if something is not clear enough, and any help or advice will be kindly appreciated!
Thank you for your time and patience
Hi Anonymous ,
Bookmarks cannot retain fields in visuals, so you need to create separate visual for both measures, hiding the other when one is selected.
Here are my sample steps.
1. Create two visuals that are equal in size and overlap in position.
2. Then select both visuals and group them together.3. Create bookmarks to apply the changes of Group1 only and hide the corresponding visual for the bookmark.
If the problem is still not resolved, please provide detailed error information or the expected result you expect. Let me know immediately, looking forward to your reply.
