Bookmarks selection on other pages

Hi,
I have monthly and quarterly 2 bookmark views on one page. similarly I have another 2 view  (Monthly and quarterly) on other page.
How I can ensure that when the monthly bookmark on one page is selected, it reflects across all other pages. as the bookmark button is different on each bookmark view how can I sync bookmarks button to maintain consistancy.
Thank you.

Hi @Vik49111

Thank you very much PijushRoy for your prompt reply.

To ensure that selecting a monthly bookmark on one page reflects across all other pages, you can use the Sync Slicers feature in Power BI. This feature allows you to synchronize slicers across multiple pages, ensuring consistency in your bookmarks. Here’s how you can do it:

Create Slicers for Each View: On each page, create slicers for your monthly and quarterly views. Ensure that these slicers are set up identically on each page.

Sync Slicers:

Go to the View tab in Power BI Desktop.

Select Sync Slicers.

In the Sync Slicers pane, check the boxes for the pages where you want the slicers to be synchronized.

Create Bookmarks:

Set up your views (monthly and quarterly) on each page.
Create bookmarks for each view on each page.
Ensure that the slicers are set to the desired state before creating the bookmarks.

Update Bookmarks:

After syncing the slicers, update your bookmarks to reflect the synchronized state.
This ensures that when you select a bookmark on one page, the slicers (and thus the views) are updated across all pages.

Thank you @PijushRoy  for your reply. I understand bookmark has a scope of page.

In my case I have different visuals for month and different visuals for quarter. I created bookmarks to resolve my issue, as I was not able to create one visuals for monthly and quarterly values with single selection filter (different measures were used to calculate quarterly numbers).

is there any other way I can use sync slicer for bookmarks ?

Hi @Vik49111
Yes, there are other alternative ways, let me check if it will work for your data model.
Can you please create a Sample PBIX file with sample data and share the Google Drive, One Drive or dropbox link (make sure you provided the access). The data model should be similar of your original file.

Please share screenshot of the existing report, hind sensitive information if needed

Hi @Vik49111

No, Bookmark is a dynamic screenshot of the current page, it will not work on multiple pages.
Sync filter will solve the same filter selection on multiple pages, not bookmark. If possible, please use the Sync Slicer to solve the requirement.
