Bookmarks and cross-highlighting workaround

Hi,
I would like to know if it's possible (with some workaround) to retain cross-highlighting between different bookmarks which show different visuals.
For example, i want to select data into a table and then select a bookmark that make the table disappear and a map appear in its place with the regions corresponding to these data highlighted. But making a table disappear in the selection panel seems to make the report forget its selections...
(this because i have a lot of related visuals which cannot fit all into the page)

Thank you in advance

  • Hi Kobia ,

As you refer this is not achievable by bookmarks, what you need is to use the drill down option but for that you need to create a new page witht the visual you need, another work aroud can be to create a tooltip page that will be linked to the table you need however the tooltip is not interactive.

  • Hi Kobia ,

When creating bookmarks the default setup is to save the values selected so when you click the bookmark you return to the same place.

You need to rigth click the bookmark and turn off the option data, that will turn off the connectiion to the initial selection on the bookmark and allow you to keep filters/slicers from a bookmark to the other.

Check the last paragraph of this documentation on bookmarks.

Ok, but this seems to work only to retain filters and slicers, not with the cross-highlighting between two tables for example...
