Hi,
I may be missing something but isn't the Bookmark functionality supposed to give me the ability to bookmark an EXACT view?
I have a series of charts on my report, all of which need to be viewed unfiltered and contain weekly data for the last 2 years, in cunulative form so only really makes sense going left to right. My seemingly simple requirement is to fix the horizontal scroll bars to the right of each chart, instead of the left. Reading through previous posts this seems impossible and the idea has got not further with MS despite >700 votes.
If anyone has any workarounds that work (and do not involve reversing the sort, filtering the data or doing anything else that changes the essential requirement) you help would be much appreciated. Failing that, I believe this should be reported as a bug not an idea as this is functionality that should exist in Bookmarks.

It does seem like a useful feature to have!
Unfortunately "Display" will only save if the visual is hidden or not and if anything is selected ( spotlighted in the visual ).
Appreciate your Kudos!

Display does not preserve the bookmark, to me this seems like a defect as visibility of a visual also includes scroll position.

How is this even an accepted solution? It just says it can't be done, without proposing an actual solution.
First time? LOL. the powerbi user community moderators must be rewarded for providing solutions. 98% of questions here are answered with "Good Idea, put it in the suggestion box so I can mark this as solved"
Hi Cristi,
Unfortunatly I'm just a user of Power BI just like yourself so I dont have the ability to change the capability of the software.
You can always suggest it as an idea here
Thanks
Sid
I dont believe there is any option to save your scroll bar position.
The only options are:
- Data: Data is going to preserve slicer and filter selections
- Display: preserve spotlighting and whether or not visuals are visible or not
- Page: user to the specified page that is visible at the time of the bookmark
Appreciate your Kudos!
