Bookmark doesn't keep Filter Pane setting- even with 'Data' option checked

I am familiar with the basics of creating bookmarks and that includes knowing all about the various bookmark option check boxes for DATA, DISPLAY, CURRENT PAGE, ALL VISUALS and SELECTED VISUALS. I am trying to save Filter Pane values using a bookmark but- even with the 'DATA' option checked- the filtered values don't hold. (Note that I have no problem keeping filtered values with a bookmark if I use a Slicer to filter the values instead).

A post from 2018 indicated that Filter Pane values couldn't be saved as part of a bookmark back then. Is this still true?

Thanks!

Can you send a pbix file with this problem? Even a sample one with fake data? It should work.

Thanks for your reply. Yes, I see that filter pane choices are captured by a bookmark when I try it in a single table sample file. I will try to replicate my issue,  with sample data, and then post the file. In the meantime I've  chose a short term solution of using a hidden slicer for my bookmarks.
