Bookmark Navigation Drop-Down Option

Hi All,

I have a tab in my dashboard that I am using to give the option to the end user to benchmark values between preselected years. I did this with bookmarks, which switch between overlying widgets on the same tab. Since I want to provide that option on the same page, I used Bookmark Navigation and not Page Navigation. So for example, based on the screenshot, if the user wants to see the values for "23 vs. 20", she has to click on the button next to the current selection (button with orange fill) and the bookmark switches all the widgets.

My question is whether there is an option not to have buttons, but a slicer with drop-down options to select from.

Thank you in advance for your help, and please let me know whether I can further clarify something.

Best,
Ioannis

    Hey IoannisPhilip

According to my interpretation, you have 6 different bookmarks for all 6 Options and bookmark wise all the visuals have different measures used. To have a dropdown list you can use field parameters and use it instead of your base measure and a slicer will automatically be created which you can format as a dropdown list. By doing so you can remove bookmarks and report will also be optimized.

you can follow the below video to get a clear understanding.
