Blank program dialogue screens after install

Hello -

I'm having an issue with a licensed Power BI installation on a Dell Latitude 3590 laptop running Windows 10 64 bit. This laptop has a maximum resolution of 1920 x 1080.

Referencing the minimum requirements section here: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/desktop-get-the-desktop#minimum-requirements

"Windows display settings: If you set your display settings to change the size of text, apps, and other items to more than 100%, you may not be able to see certain dialogs that you must interact with to continue using Power BI Desktop. If you encounter this issue, check your display settings in Windows by going to Settings > System > Display, and use the slider to return display settings to 100%."

I have since discovered that the option for "Scale and layout -> Change the size of text, apps, and other items" was sent to a value of "125%" appearantly as a default for native maximum resolution of 1920 x 1080.

Sure enough, after installing Power Bi (licensed) from Windows Store, I was greeted with Dialogue/program windows that were not rendering their interactive content.

The dialogues are interactive and I am able to close them by guessing at the appoximate location of certain things (far right upper corner for "x" program close for example) so I thought I might be able to just live with it. But after using the program for several minutes it's appearant this has to be addressed. Prompts for saving due to file changes, help modals, splash screens, Windows sign in options - there are just too many prompt screens baked in to the program to not see the interactive pieces.

I have since uninstalled the program via Store, changed the Windows display settings scaling value to "100%" (and dropped to resolutions listed below), and re-installed using the standalone .exe from the link above. Same result.

I have altered the resolution from 1920 x 1080 to 1680 x1050 to 1600 x 900 reopening the program after each change with the same result.

I have checked for updated graphics drivers for the Intel UHD Graphics 620 that shipped with the laptop (none exist).

I have changed default browser application in Windows from Google Chrome to Microsoft Edge (no effect).

What else can I do to get this display issue fixed?

Thanks.
