Blank() counts zeroes?

Why is this formula counting the zeroes as well:

New Measure = CALCULATE(COUNTROWS('Table A'),'Table B'[Data Column]=BLANK())

***Table A is related to Table B

For example, if a particular criteria has 4 blanks but also had 2 zero-valued data the formula above will return 6 instead of just 4.

I think I resolved my own issue and just wanted to share for anyone who cames across this post

I simply changed this:

    New Measure = CALCULATE(COUNTROWS('Table A'),'Table B'[Data Column]=BLANK())

to this:

    New Measure = CALCULATE(COUNTROWS('Table A'),ISBLANK('Table B'[Data Column]))

@ovetteabejuela I was going to propose to use ISBLANK() but at the same time wanted to share why BLANK() is doing what it is doing.

Glad you resolved it.

Cheers,
