Advocate IIBlank Values in Slicers
I get a blank vaule in the slicer. When I change it to a visual there is it does not show up. I am fine with putting a filter on that doesn't show blank values but I am concerned that in the future it will exclude actual data. Why does the blank show up in the slicer but not the visual?

Unfortunately only the PBI team can answer why they the designed it this way?
But if you seach the forums you'll see many people are frustrated they have to convert to table - filter - convert back...
They could've at least included an ON/OFF Switch in the Slicer's Paint Brush options for easy On/Off for Blanks
Anyway maybe a fix is coming (If there are no blanks in the underlying data it shouldn't show up I agree)

What version of Power BI desktop are you using?
It seems working properly in April Update(2.34.4372.322).
