I have noticed an issue when importing from BigQuery and the name of the column matches the name of the table.
In this case we get in that column a json representation of the whole row
A work around is renaming the column so it doesnt have the same name as the table

It could be the issue with BigQuery. I suggest you also create an thread in BigQuery forumn.
