Hello, the dashboard I am working on is trying to present the financial performance of a group of restaurants. The users are very particular about not being "overwhelmed" with visualizations, and so the flow we have set up is the initial page has a bunch of scorecards which will let users know if they need to dive deeper into drill down pages.
For example, on the inital page we have total sales for the month for a certain product. The group as a whole has a target for how many sales they need, so if the target isn't reached, then the scorecard will indicate so with conditional formatting.
The problem is, even though the overall target is reached, it is possible that individual restaurants aren't meeting their targets. How can I visualize this in manner that is as minimal as a scorecard? It doesn't need to be detailed, the user just needs to know at a glance how an individual restaurant is doing.

Hi, @Anonymous
Based on the information you have provided, Here are my answers to your questions.
For the overall goal, you can use metric, but for the INDIVIDUAL restaurants you mentioned, you can use the KPI view under Visualizations to make them for individual individuals. You can put the target value in target, so that the individual values will also change with the overall change, so that you can achieve what you need.
