Best way to pull data into visual from multiple tables - UNION

I have Table 1, Table 2, Table 3 and Table 4. All of these tables have the same number of columns holding the same data types. Is creating the virtual table using the  UNION of these four tables the best way to analyze the data rather than going into each table doing something and then putting it together into the result?

I was thinking about creating the virtual table using the  UNION and then making a relationship between that table with my calendar table. What is the most efficient way of doing this?

If possible, append the four tables into one table in Power Query. Otherwise, you can create a DAX calculated table using the UNION function.

  • yeah reason I am trying to do this is that when I select the dates in my slicer and those dates correspond to dates from one of the tables in the union I am getting no results while when selecting the dates from other three tables it works fine
