Best practice SAP Sybase IQ and Power BI

I am trying to get the best performing solution in Database SAP Sybase IQ connecting to Power BI.

Version: SAP IQ/16.0.110.3089/12775/P/sp11.23/64bit

With ODBC I get very poor performance in loading data and no query folding, so Power BI loads first the whole table into memory and then applies the filters set in Power Query instead of applying the filters in the SQL query to the source table.

I cannot get the native Power BI database connector “Sybase-database” working.  But should this connector be suitable for an IQ database?

Can anybody please share best practices in this scenario?

      v-chuncz-msft,
Thank you very much for your reply!

I have seen and read the post you mentioned before.

My problem is not to get the ODBC connection working (technically it works) but the performance is very poor. (2k records per second and no query folding) so I am looking for best practices to get the best performance.

Any help with that would be highly appreiciated.
