Hi,

I was wondering if anyone had any great titles for learning Dax to help with power bi? My work is mostly financed focused and I need to create a ton of metrics.

Great starting book for DAX (and by starter, it assumes you don't know a lot, but will teach you enough to make some really good DAX measures and calculated columns, as well as understand how the DAX model works, and some tricks using CALCULATE()): Supercharge Power BI
Great book for M/Power Query in Power BI: Collect, Combine, and Transform Data using Power Query in Excel and Power BI
Great deep deep dive into DAX - I personally would not start here if you are new to DAX. Make this your 2nd DAX book: The Definitive Guide to DAX

If you can, hold off on the Definitive Guide to DAX. A 2nd Edition is due in May 2019 with more DAX functions and features that didn't exist in 2015. Even if you get it, you cannot go wrong. I am reading it now and plan to re-read it via the 2nd edition in a few months.
