Basic question

I am trying to learn BI from YT but learners BI is showing visualisation pane but my Desk is showing Build pane, Any fixes?

  • Hi AsifShaikh - Might be you are watching the BI YT videos with old versions of Power BI Desktop where you can see visualization pane as per new s/w update/release from Microsoft Power BI Desktop software we have build pane for visualization.

  • AsifShaikh The Build pane appears instead of the Visualizations pane if you have the On-object interactions Preview feature turned on. I would highly recommend turning off all Preview features unless you actually need them as this will make your Desktop experience more standard and closer to what people demo as well as make your Desktop more stable and less prone to crashing.

  • Hi AsifShaikh

maybe the videos are older videos and Power BI has recently changed the name. I haven't noticed the change myself.
