Hi,
I have a strange situation with a filter on the filter pane. When I filter with an advanced filter, my report will show the data filtered by this Product:
However when I filter with the basic filter, the item does not appear in the search of the filter, and the report cannot be filtered for this product:
Does anyone know what might be the cause?
Thanks.
Evelien

Hello @EG2025 @EvelienG2026 ,
There can be reasons such as datatype of the column, if there are any spaces around the values in the column. One must validate the datatype and validate if there are any trailing or leading spaces in the value. You can transform the data in Power Query Editor using Transform>Format>Trim.
Please let me know if this didn't help.
Thanks.

Does that item show up in the Basic Filtering list when you have NOT applied a filter?
There have been issues with the Filter Pane when you change the Theme.

Hi @SamWiseOwl, sorry I am the same person as EG2025, but for some reason I had to choose a new username in order to reply 😉
I cannot see the item in the list when I do not apply a filter.
For me the option from your screenshot is also set to "Legacy"
Hope this helps.
Thanks!
