Basic filtering by company name
Hi all
I am a newbie and trying to figure out on powerbi. I am trying to do a filtering based on the sales by 3 different companies A,B and C in year 2012. I tried using slicer but not sure how to have a filter for the companies. would anyone give me some hints? Thank you so much!

Anonymous whatever column you use on legend for company, use the same column in slicer. You question is not fully clear though, read this post to get your answer quickly.

Yes, the column in your filter/slicer should be same with the column in the legend field of bar chart. In addtion, if that's not your requirement, please share some sample data and clarify more details about your requirement.
