Bar width in stacked bar chart

Is it really not possible to control the width of bars in a horizontal bar chart?  I'd like to show numerous charts, each with a different number of bars, but I want the bars to all be the same width and have the same spacing.  Here's a very quick and dirty example of that I have now:

Is it possible to get all the bars to look the same?
