Bar chart (or any other) to show grouped prices with conditional formating

Hello!

Have you got any idea how to get a chart like this?

problem_power_bi.png

I have data with offers - a huge number of prices for each day, each hour. Want to put them on chart, from the smallest to the highest. Oftentimes these records of prices are the same f.e.:   Hour 1:  8, 10, 10, 12, 15, 19, 19, 19, 19, 19, 19, 23, 26, 26, 26, .....

Then, I want to group them - like "boxes" in the chart, representing how many times this price occurs in this hour.  In my example, box for 8 is the lowest, box for 19 is the highest, for the hour 1.

Next bar for hour 2, next for 3, ect.

It would be fantastic, if I could set my colors for the boxes, according to the price.

Like in the picture above - the highest prices for each day - dark , and , the lowest - light blue.

The only result what I got you see there: - I have no idea how to set the colors.

Hi @Alexandreau,

Thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Fabric Community Forum.

You can create bins based on prices(by size of bins or number of bins), then you can set the color based on the bin size as shown in the image.

Hello @Alexandreau

You can add slicer which will show number of points on graph.

other way you can add xoom slider to see data for sepecific range ,user can select start and end point,

You can category it to further by grouping

Thanks

Hello @Alexandreau

You can create a group, select the value in Data Pane

Cookistador_0-1743495343596.png

and here depending on what you need, you can create the right grouping (bins in your case)

Hi Cookistador!

This brings me closer to what I want!

Now, there are 2 problems:

1) There is to many data (7-8k)  The lowest price is 320,01 , the highest 1429,56.

If I set granulacity of group 0,01 - then chart shows only part data, rest is cutted.

The optymal granulation to show the whole range is 20 - quite big number 😕

Is there any workaround?

2) Still cannot set colours. That is even more problematic, they look chaotic.
