Bar chart - group X-axis using 2 fields

The below shows a graph in Excel showing the "SLM Status" & Priority plotted against "number of tickets"

Excel

How do we recreate this within Power BI. All we have achieved so far is to select the SLM status and Priority as the X-axis which allows us to drill down. This isn't what we want to acheive. We've like the data to be represented within the same graph.

As a workaround, you may try steps as below.

Based on your description, I created data to reproduce your scenario.

    Table:

You may use 'Clustered column chart', click 'Field', set 'Axis' as 'SLM Status', 'Legend' as 'Priority plotted', Value as 'number of tickets'.

  • Anonymous add SLA Status and Priority on X-AXis and use Inline (fork arrow ) to drill down and that will do it.

      Thank you for the response.

However, is it possible to replicate this graph without having to drill down.

We need to display both SLM status and priority on the same chart, together.

Anonymous Unfortunately not, you have to drill down and then you can disable visual headers so that users cannot drill up.

I would 💖 Kudos 🙂 if my solution helped. If you can spend time posting the question, you can also make efforts to give Kudos whoever helped to solve your problem. It is a token of appreciation!
