Hi All
The below chart is designed on Tableau and i want to replicate this chart in Power BI. Can someone sugest me how to achieve this on Power BI.
These 3 are the calculations (Measures)
1. Previous Year Sales
2. Inventory
3. Placed Orders
Need to display them as bars based on one dimension and further want to segregate these bars (in color) based on one dimension (Lane).
Tableau Visual :
Hi @Anonymous,
Something like the one that you showed is directly not possible (i.e. Similar to the way in tableau).
But you can achieve it using three different chart one below the other with the same category axis column in all the 3 visuals
It also requires some formatting modifications like hiding x axis in the visuals wherever not required and displaying Y Axis Title in the visuals and other minor formatting changes as per your need.
Essentially after making all the changes, your visual should look like the one below (You can also do much more modifications, if possible to make it look closer to your existing visual in Tableau)
This Approach will be best if there is always data available for all the entries in your category. Otherwise says 2 of the charts have dta and one does not have data, the categories might mismatch
Can you please explain how to create that visual.
Hi Thejeswar,
We want all the bars in single chart. Tableau has this functionality but unfortunately it seems powerbi lacks this.
Never mind, if there is some custom visual wich you can suggest, that would be helpful.
