Banding/Grouping with Direct Query/Live Connection
- 7 years ago
Hi Anonymous
Measures can't be added in the X axis.
As a workaround,
If your measure shows the value of each group, you could add "category"/"group"in the X axis, then add your measure in the Value field.
If your measure shows different groups/categories, you could create a calcuated column.
But since you are using SSAS live connection, it is unsupported to created a column.
So it is wise of you to ask the AAS contact to put the measure in the data layer level of AAS.
Best Regards

Hi Anonymous
How do you create this measure?
Could you share some example data?
Best Regards
Maggie
Thanks for the response! I think regardless of the measure I create - it will not be able to be put on the "X" axis of a bar chart, which is the business requirement. I have decided instead to ask the AAS contact to put the measure in the data layer level of AAS.
