    YEs By the moment I can give screen shots because its a draft done in excel that I want to do it  in PBI.

    This is the balance sheet structure:

    as you can see in account group column there are some group accounts, with 3 or 4 digits.
    This is an example coming from the balance sheet ledger:

    You can see grouped accounts depending on the digits bs_acct_4 for 4 digits, bs_acct_3 for 3 etc.
    I want to create a table using BS structure as a dimensions and values coming from BS_ledger. 
    The DAX that I want to create is, depending on the values coming from the structure I 'll have to choose between  2,3 or 4 digits sum of accounts

      Thanks for your reply. Base on your description, there are two sheets "balance sheet structure" and "balance sheet ledger". And you want to achieve the same output in Power BI with the one in the excel. The account_group with 4 digits, 3 digits and 2 digits corresponed to the bs_acct_4,bs_acct_3 and bs_acct_2 in the sheet "balance sheet ledger"? What's your expected result? Could you please provide some raw data in your tables(exclude sensitive data) with Text format and explain the expected result with more details(examples, screenshot etc.) base on your sample data? It would be helpful to find out the solution.
