It connects to the Contoso-DB. Haven't checked, but there might be balance-sheet figures in it as well.
One option is to use an existing Balance Sheet or Income Statement dashboard template as a starting point rather than building the accounting data model from scratch. These typically come with a structured model and pre-built measures that can save a lot of time and help ensure best practices are followed.
