Backward 7 days moving average including zero

Hello,

I am still struggling with BACKWARD moving average including ZERO value.

My original data was blank when no data. Thanks to Forum's help, now I added new line contains both zero value and other value called SALES[SALES_TOTAL]

Could you please help what is wrong with this measure?

Rolling average =
VAR select_date =
    MAX (CALENDAR[Date])
VAR end_Date = select_date - 7
VAR Branch_select =
    MAX (BRANCH[BRANCH])
RETURN
    CALCULATE (
        AVERAGEX (SALES, SALES[SALES_TOTAL]),
        FILTER (
            ALL (SALES),
            SALES[SALES_DATE] <= select_date
                && SALES[SALES_DATE] >= end_Date
                && SALES[BRANCH] = Branch_select
        )
    )

All the best,

coco

Hi @cocomy

From the function you provide, I cannot reproduce the scenario as yours. The syntax of the measure has no problem, but for the zero value, it may not return the value you expect.

Could you share a dummy pbix file which can reproduce the scenario, so that we can help you better? You could upload it to OneDrive or Dropbox and post the link here. Do mask sensitive data before uploading.)

Best Regards,
