Background colour and text as bold

I want a grey background and text as bold for a few particular abbreviations only. Can anyone help me with this issue?

Thanks in advance.

  1. Select the visual where you want to apply the conditional formatting.

  2. In the "Visualizations" pane on the right, expand the "Format" section.

  3. Scroll down to the "Conditional formatting" section and click on "Background color" or "Font color," depending on whether you want to change the background color or text color.

  4. Click on "Add rule."

  5. Choose the field that contains the abbreviations or values you want to format differently.

  6. Set the conditions for when the formatting should apply. For example, you can specify that when the field value is equal to a particular abbreviation, the formatting should be applied.

  7. Once you've set the conditions, click on the color box to choose the background color or text color you want for the specified value.

  8. Additionally, for making the text bold, you can go back to the "Format" section in the "Visualizations" pane, expand the "Text box" section, and turn on the "Bold" option.

  9. Repeat the above steps to add more rules if you want to format multiple abbreviations differently.

  10. Close the "Format" section, and your visual will now display the specified background color and text formatting for the selected values or abbreviations.

This way, you can highlight specific values or abbreviations in your Power BI visuals with a grey background, bold text, or any other formatting you desire.
