Back button removing filter

Hi,

 

Have folloiwng situation.

 

we have a button on page 1 which when clicked shows another page (page2)  in the same .pbix file.

 

We then apply a filter on page 1 e.g to show one week of data.

On this page2 we have a button with action back and when hit back it goes back to page 1 with the filter removed.

 

Looks like a bug - woudl expect it to go back to page 1 with the filters intact.

    Not exactly sure what you want. If the filter you add is what you want the page to be as a default when landing on it then apply the filter right click the bookmark name and select update.

     

    Otherwise have you tried right clicking the bookmark and deselcting Data?

      Hi,

      Expecting the back button to function similar to back button in browser and if user selects a filter on page 1 say to limit to certain territory and then hits a help button to take them to page which has some help text that when hit back button, the back goes back to page 1 eaxctly as was when user applied filter.
