BUG::chart formatting disaster!! The galeon is sinking!!!

ISSUE:  I'll let the screenshot speak for itself.  This is on Desktop Version: 2.126.927.0 64-bit (February 2024)

Still, the data comes from a field param table, thus explicit measures computing an average.

Hi @Element115 ,

Here are my test results, I've used Field parameter but I still can't reproduce your problem:

You can attach your pbix file to your repo, thanks!

Hi @Element115 ,

Can you provide the pbix? I cannot reproduce the problem you are facing.
Also, please try rolling back the version of Power BI Desktop and try it in another version of Desktop to see if this still happens. If it still happens then it's not a version issue.

Best Regards,
Dino Tao

btw you have to use field params in the data wells, and not table columns as with the latter everything works as intended, but not when using the former.

Sorry, my bad.  I was using only one field param table and had dropped it in both the primary y-axis and the secondary y-axis, so per force, if you select 2 fields, then 2 colors will appear for each axis, hence 4.  Must have been a late night.

How do I provide you with the pbix?  Upload here?

It's the field parameter table that does not play well with the built-in viz.  Also had issue with a line and clustered column chart.

Here is a new screenshot showing a 2nd line chart at bottom who gets the data straight from the table columns in the model with implicit measure computing the average. As we can see, no issues in the formatting pane.
