I have a somewhat convoluted report I inherited. To make it work, I had to create slicer groups. I have two existing date slicers that are set to "between" and belong to the same slicer group 1. I just created a table and a related date table that are completely separate from the date model itself, however, the table is a calculated table derived from one table A, plus some measures drawing from other tables.
If I add the new date slicer to slicer group 1 and uncheck both boxes under "Advanced", and if I then change the new slicer to "before", the other date slicers in the group also change to "before".
Expected behavior would be for them to stay at "between", with the new slicer simply returning the last-most date from the group.
Any idea why this is happening, and is there a fix? IMHO this is a bug.

Hi , @SDittmannFleet
According to your description, you are using the sync slicer in Power BI Desktop and you group the slicers and you uncheck the two options under the groupname.
I also test it in my side , when we group the date slicer and update one of the slicer Style , the other slicers will both convert this Style.
I think this is a ByDesign, I did a test locally, and it has nothing to do with the two options under Group Name. The slicer of the text string is to support us to modify the Style for a slicer in the group. But for the date format, we can only realize the function of the Sync slicer by keeping the Style of the date slicer.
Thank you for your time and sharing, and thank you for your support and understanding of PowerBI!
