BI Stops responding, force close only solution
I've been working for a year with a model, starting last week, every time I update the data, make changes in power query or do something simple like hidding fileds in the model view a "in process" po...
No info there,
I solver the issue with the following steps, can't tell if all were needed or which one was the solution:
- Uninstalling Power BI and Power Bi Helper
- Going to the PowerBI install folder en deleted a .json file for Powerbi helper that was there after the uninstall
- Reinstall Power Bi from the website
- Using the bi file version before the power helper install
- Redo all changes to get to the latest version.
As the sayig goes, I dont have proof, but neither doubt, that it was the power bi helper that caused the file to crash.
