hello, what is the best practice in upload each period fact data?
say, we begin with month 1 sales table into power bi, transform it
then month2, should i import it into power bi and append it to month 1, but we will still have two tables, this practice will have month3, 4,5..etc, too many tables
i can of course use sharepoint folder and combine all months..the problem with this all months has to be consistent..
i just want to learn if there is a good practice out there, thank you

Hi, @zraopingm
Importing a real-time Excel book is indeed a great way to do it. Have you solved your problem?

You are welcome.
Thank you for yout time, around 500 records each month or more, columns are consistent, for now i append them to one master files, but the issue is i have each month table accumulated into power bi,, and that is a bit of headache
Zoey
That is a very tiny amount of data. You can keep all your data in a single file for a very long time.
how many rows for each month? The files don't have to be 100% consistent as long as there are common columns.
