Azure file storage connection from Power BI desktop

How can I connect to an excel file in Azure file storage service from Power BI desktop?

I can see only Azure Blob storage and Azure table storage date source type.

Based on my research, Azure file storage is not a supported data source type in Power BI desktop.

You could sumbit this request as an idea at this page, if it is mentioned by many users, product team will consider adding it to future release.
