Azure Maps - how is the data used / stored?

With the move to Azure Maps can I ask will any of the data (other than location info ie latitude/longitude) be  stored or used by Microsoft or any other third party? The maps could be used with sensitive information that in some cases isnt permitted to be used outwith the party creating it so there is a question around the security of the information being used.
