Hi,
I think I experience the same issue. This is an example URL of a KML I found on the internet:
http://www.wanderninsuedlimburg.de/navidateien/buch6/Tour3.kml
If you download the .kml and use with File Upload it works, but if I use the URL nothing is displayed.
