Hello,
I'm trying to use Power BI to get listings of blobs and possibly Azure Blob metadata - but when I set up the Azure Blob Storage data source and then "Close & Apply" the Query - Power BI wants to download ALL the binary content of the blobs. We have several TB across a few containers and all I need is the list of names and the other attributes.
I've Removed the "Content" column in the Power Query Editor but it doesn't seem to have an effect on the download.
This is my first post here - sorry if I've missed any pertinent info.
Thanks in advance,
Todd Baker

Hi @Anonymous,
Based on the document, I found Azure blob storage connector seems not able to do customize operations to remove specific fields.
I'd like to suggest you use rest api for azure blob storage to get data, it allow you to do customize with result table fields.
OAuth2 REST API as data source
