Hi Team
We are unable to removed repeated category name on X axis. It is repeated for all the Instances.
We want category needs to be shown only once in the first column (ABC shold appears once in of the 100% stackbar chart). Please find screesnshot for your reference.
table
category | Instance | completed | not completed |
ABC | IS1 | 100 | 0 |
ABC | IS2 | 80 | 20 |
ABC | IS3 | 50 | 50 |
ABC | IS4 | 20 | 80 |

Thanks for the reply. There is no option for Concatenate in 100% percent stack bar chart.
The requirement is to show only one category i.e. ABC against the instance i.e. IS5,IS6 etc. like the way we do stepped layout option for Matrix report.
Hi @Anonymous
Currently Concatenate labels only support in X axis. Here I suggest you to use column chart instead of bar chart if you want to use this function.
Your demand is a good idea, while it is not supported to implement in Power BI currently.
You can vote up this idea for this function:Y-axis Categorical and Concatenation Option for bar charts
Or you can submit a new idea to improve the Power BI.

Hi @Anonymous
I think you want to show ABC once in your hierachy level.
Your visual should looks like as below.
Firstly click "..." in the right above corner of the visual. Sort the visual by X aixs. Here is "category instance".
Turn off Concatenate labels in X axis in visual format. Result is as below.
