Avoid loading from file when referring to another query

I have a 'load' query that loads data from a csv file.

When I refer to the 'load' query in a 'new' query, my 'new' query loads the data from the source every time I make a change to the 'new' query.

Is there a way to refer to the 'load' query that will avoid loading the data again?    (...or am I misinterpreting the expected benefit of referring to another query?)
