Average value balance sheet

Hello,

I have a measure which calculates the purchase value YTD which relates to the accumulated balance sheet.

Now I want to calculate the average value per year for this measure. In this case the average value for 2022 would be 1/12 of 406.000. Because the asset was only one month on the balance sheet.

The purchase value YTD measure is calculated as follows:

Purchase Value YTD = totalYTD([Purchase Value,Kalender[Datum])*-1

Thank you

Hi @Scholes

Since I can't restore your data, I can't give a specific formula. To better help you, can you provide sample data? How to provide sample data in the Power BI Forum - Microsoft Fabric Community . Or show it as a screenshot or pbix. Please remove any sensitive data in advance. If uploading pbix files please do not log into your account.

Here's my current suggestion for your reference:

You can start by figuring out how many months correspond to each other in the balance sheet, and then use the Purchase Value YTD with the figured answer.

Best Regards,
Yulia Xu
