Yes, I did´t considered this case so far...difficult ro cover your need without knowing your datamodel.
Easy to solve.
Divide 2 measures.
AVG = SUM(your_table[Amount Item]) / DISTINCTCOUNT(your_table[WeekNumber])
Try this approach.
