Automatic date column drill down not working as advertised

I followed the process in this tutorial here.  I have a simple revenue dashboard that I want to display revenue by year, quarter, month, day. I move the date column (type = date) in the X-Axis ...

Are you using the latest Version: 2.36.4434.381 64-bit (June 2016)? It is strange that it works with a duplicated date column.

It would be helpful if you can provide the .pbix file which can be used to repro it.

    Herbert Liu, Where should I upload the pbix? I will have to create a new source with just this issue as this is Financial data and cannot be openly shared/published.

      If possible, you can upload the pbix to OneDrive and share it.
