Autodetect relationship is not enabled for direct query

Auto Detect Relationship is not enabled in direct query mode.

 

I tried in import data mode and relationships were enabled by default as column names are same.

But in direct query mode I need to manually set relationships between tables.

Does direct query mode doesn't create relationships automatically even if column names are same ?

    When using the DirectQuery mode, Autodetect will be inactive in "Manage relationships". So you need to create relationships manually.
