AutoCAD integration with Power BI

Hello all

A web searched turned up very little on Power BI and AutoCad...specifically linking or pulling in AutoCad drawings in manner where Power BI can read the Square footage of a room or any other attributes associated with the room.

I understand the drawings could be converted to images, but that would likely defeat our goal of having Power BI dynamically read AutoCad renderings as they modified and updated daily to reflect  values like occupancy, work stations within and square footage.

Thanks in advance for any direction.

    rdwyer1969 ,

I'm afraid currently power bi desktop/service doesn't have autoCAD integration. You can submit your idea here to help power bi improve.

      Thank you for the response.

You say desktop has no integration:  are you aware of any 3rd party plugins that allow for the display of AutoCAD renderings within Power BI reporting server or desktop?

      Thank you.

There is an Italian company that designs power bi to read autocad and with it can manipulate the 3d project within the desktop power bi desktop.
