Auto tooltips interactions with matrix visual
HI,
I have a page with matrix visual that displays various tooltips based on the columns using the "auto" tooltip setting. A few values are set to display a "blank" tooltip with 1x1 pixel size to make it easier to look at data without having to move away the cursor to get rid of tooltip covering something you are looking at.
I am wondering if there's a way to remove\replace a default tooltip that appears when I hover over the "row" item, which is a combination of a sales order number and the line number for that sales order.
I have these tooltips set to display for following values:
What I am looking for is to also set the following tooltip to the very first, "blank" one.
I think because I am using two values in the row section, I cant set the tooltip for the specific one. Any workaround is much appreciated.

ah no! I I remember what it is, since I once had a similar problem!
For a matrix visual in general the custom tooltip does not appear when you hover over the rows or columns, only when you hover over the values. I tried it out to be sure (see below) so also when you only put one value in the rows or columns the custom tool tip will not appear from the rows, only from the values.

when you created your tool tip page you should be able to put multiple columns into the tool tip area:

Yes, I am using that functionality already to make the effect I showed above. However, since I have two values for rows in the matrix(one for Sales order and one for it's line number) the custom tooltip does not show up when I hover over the leftmost column.
Here's the setting for the tooltip page:
I am assuming it's because due to how matrix works, the leftmost column is considered a combination of two "row" values combined. Here's the matrix settings:
