Auto refresh when you publish your dashboard to the server?

Hi there,

I created a dashboard based on an API/json file. Furthermore I also added a social media API.

The social media api refreshes weekly and the json file gets new data every other 3 days.

I want to schedule a daily refresh in Power BI. Now I need to manually click in my desktop on Refresh for it to refresh.

I tried a Schedule Refresh, but it did not work. Furthermore, when I published my dashboard to the web and when I later refreshed the dataset through app.powerbi.com, it did also not refresh automatically. The version in my report tab did refresh, but the one I published to the web did not refresh at all...

How can I make sure that my dashboard refreshes dailly?

Hi @Gjakova ,

When you configure secheduled refresh, have you configured the gateway credentials correctly?

If secheduled refresh not work and the report is based on an API file, maybe you can try to set API refresh. Please refer:

Are you using Service for dashboard?

What's capacity level do you have?

Where do you want to see changes? In service?

If you have only personal free license it's available only daily or weekly schedules

Update: in the last two hours I added an auto refresh through the website, but it still won't update my dashboard
I tried it with multiple dashboards, but none worked
